So far as more and more states open up and ease the restriction on businesses, we will see how this will affect the number of Covid 19 cases in different states.
So far Hawaii cases have been well controlled and in term of black lives matter related protests Hawaii has also been very peaceful.
According to the data, we see currently the top 5 states with the highests number of Covid 19 cases are NY, NJ, California, Illinois, Massachusetts, and Texas.
The lowest number of Covid 19 is seen in Northern Mariana Islands, US Virgin Islands, Montana, Hawaii, and Alaska in the order of lowest to higher. From the picture below you can see the number of cases in each state as of June 17, 2020.
It could be the reason that many of the tourists that visit Hawaii right now are from many of those states that are being hit more severely such as NY and California.
As the mortgage interest rate hits the historic low again, demand for housing also has increased quite a bit. We will also likely see more out of states buyers interested in Hawaii real estate as a future investment.
